To qualify, applicants must own and reside in the home where the windows would be installed, be at least 18 years old, and consent to participate in publicity efforts including photos, videos, and storytelling features. In addition to receiving up to 10 free energy-efficient windows and installation, selected recipients are featured in Thompson Creek’s community storytelling efforts — celebrating their impact and inspiring others through photos, videos, and more.

Yes. The application window will close on March 31st, or earlier if we reach our application capacity. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early.

Applicants must begin by submitting an online application that includes:

• Basic contact information and home address (must be within an eligible ZIP code)


• Confirmation of homeownership


• Details about their service role and community impact


• A brief description of their current window needs


• Acknowledgment that a background check may be required if selected as a finalist

If selected for the next stage, applicants will complete a virtual assessment, which includes:

• Using the Hover app, a secure mobile tool, to submit photos of their home’s exterior


• A friendly 30-minute video consultation with a Thompson Creek team member to:
  • Learn more about your story and service
  • Confirm your home’s eligibility and window compatibility
  • Answer any questions about the program
  
  
  This step helps us ensure your home is a good fit for the program and sets the stage for a smooth installation if you’re selected.
  
  
  

Applications are reviewed by a Thompson Creek selection committee based on:

• Demonstrated community impact


• Window need and home compatibility, verified during the virtual assessment


• Willingness to participate in our storytelling efforts

Final selections are made at the sole discretion of Thompson Creek Window Company. All decisions are final.

No. This award cannot be combined with other offers. However, if a selected recipient has already made a qualifying window purchase, reimbursement or waiver of payment may be arranged at Thompson Creek’s discretion.
